Your settings (nickname, chosen circuit, number of rivals) and your best lap times. They stay on your device and are never uploaded to us.
When you press "Play online", the game connects to our server at egega.me over an encrypted connection. During a race the server receives the nickname you typed and your steering and brake inputs, and sends the positions of the cars back. Nothing is written to disk on the server; a room forgets you as soon as you leave or disconnect. We do not ask for an account, an email address or any other personal data.
Every feature works without signing in. To keep your results on the egega leaderboard the game can use a free egega account: you can sign in with Google or Apple so that the same account follows you to other devices. The egega service stores an account id, your username, your race results (best laps, wins) and your active sessions. Google and Apple only give egega an anonymous identifier, never your email address or name. This data is used only to show your name to other players, to keep your results across devices and to run leaderboards; it is never shared with anyone else and never used for advertising. You can rename the account or delete it together with all its data in the game's settings ("Delete account") or at egega.me/account.html. Details: egega.me/privacy.html.
The Android and iOS apps show ads served by Google AdMob (Google LLC). To select and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address, coarse location derived from it, device and app information, and interaction with ads. This data is processed by Google under its own policies: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses data from partner apps.
Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and the UK), a consent dialog is shown before any ad is loaded and you can decline personalised ads; you can change your choice later from the game's settings. On iOS, the system's App Tracking Transparency prompt lets you refuse tracking; if you refuse, ads are still shown but not personalised. You can reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device's settings. The web version may show ads served by Google as well, subject to the same policies.
We do not sell personal data and we do not receive any personal data from the ad network ourselves; we only see aggregated statistics.
No mandatory account, no analytics SDKs of our own, no in-app purchases, no other third-party SDKs besides the sign-in providers and the ad network described above.
The game is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; ads are requested with Google's settings for general audiences and personalised ads are only shown after consent where consent is required.
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to its processing. Your player profile can be viewed and deleted inside the game; requests about advertising data are best directed to Google through the links above or handled through your device's ad settings. You can contact us for anything else via egega.me.
